- I work for a company which develops in C++ across multiple platforms.
- There is a
- developer here who is creating some generic inter and intra processor
- communication classes. I gave him input about the differences between NT
- and the various UNIX derivatives we are using to help in their
- development. Later, I talked to a second developer and mentioned that
- their might be a problem with OS independence with the proposed classes.
- He stated that the classes were OS independent. I said, "But what about
- NT". He then said, "But that's not UNIX".
