  12. I work for a company which develops in C++ across multiple platforms.
  13. There is a
  14. developer here who is creating some generic inter and intra processor
  15. communication classes. I gave him input about the differences between NT
  16. and the various UNIX derivatives we are using to help in their
  17. development. Later, I talked to a second developer and mentioned that
  18. their might be a problem with OS independence with the proposed classes.
  19. He stated that the classes were OS independent. I said, "But what about
  20. NT". He then said, "But that's not UNIX".
